Ben Mondor Award (formerly New England Player of the Year)

The Boston Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America annually honors a player from New England with the Ben Mondor Award. The award, formerly named the New England Player of the Year award, was renamed in honor of the late Ben Mondor, owner and chairman of the Pawtucket Red Sox.
