The 73rd annual Boston Baseball Writers Dinner presented by New Balance in partnership with The Sports Museum will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at The Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston. 

Tickets are now on sale for $175 each or $1750 for a table of 10 and can be purchased online by credit card or by check. If purchasing tickets by check, checks should be made payable to The Sports Museum and sent to The Sports Museum, 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114.

The Boston Baseball Writers Dinner is the annual hot stove gathering for baseball in Boston. Your ticket admits you to: 

  • Cocktail reception (cash bar) beginning at 6 PM
  • Full dinner beginning at 7 PM
  • Autograph Alley with awards winners (for children age 16 and under only)
  • A look ahead to the 2012 campaign
  • The best hot stove talk of the season
  • Host: Karl Ravech, ESPN

  • Jacoby Ellsbury — Thomas A. Yawkey Memorial Award (Red Sox MVP)
  • Alfredo Aceves — Red Sox Pitcher of the Year, Unsung Hero Award
  • Jonathan Papelbon — Red Sox Fireman of the Year
  • Dustin Pedroia — Jackie Jenson Award (Spirit and determination)
  • Josh Reddick — Harry Agganis Memorial Award (Red Sox Rookie of the Year)
  • Jarrod Saltalamacchia — Tommy McCarthy Memorial Good Guy Award
  • Ryan Lavarnway  — Greg Montalbano Memorial Minor League Award
  • Ken Ryan — Former Boston Red Sox Player Award
  • Tommy Hottovy — Lou Gorman Award (Passion and Persistence)
